My story: Why I created this brand

Growing up with the frustration of the veil

Growing up, I always saw my mother struggle with her veil. Every morning, it was the same story: “I don’t know how to put it on.” And yet, she wore it with dignity, day after day. This frustration made me think for years. Why did the veil have to be a source of hassle? Why did it have to be a struggle to put it on, instead of simply embracing it as a natural gesture, an act of faith?

The veil should not be a constraint

But it wasn’t just my mother. I saw my aunts go through the same thing: hijabs that were too tight around their necks, fabrics that slipped, endless adjustments. The solution always seemed to be to tighten even more to cover everything, but that made wearing the veil uncomfortable and impractical. Why did modesty always mean sacrificing comfort and style?

My own experience

When I started wearing the veil, I realized that everything my loved ones had told me was true. Hijabs were neither practical nor aesthetic. I wanted an elegant hijab that could be worn in a classy and stylish way, but without my neck being visible, even when I moved. I wanted a hijab that stayed in place, that did not bother me in my daily life and that did not disturb me in my movements. A hijab that combined modesty, comfort and freedom, while respecting my way of life.

The idea behind Huda Hijabi

It is from this frustration and quest for simplicity that Huda Hijabi was born. My goal has always been to create a hijab that is both:

• Comfortable : No more discomfort or tension around the neck, but support that stays in place all day long.
• Elegant : A hijab that complements every outfit, without sacrificing style or modesty.
• Practical : Easy to put on, without pins, and adjustable for tailor-made comfort.

For all Muslim women

I wanted to offer a solution to all women who, like me, want to wear their veil with pride, without having to worry about adjustments, discomfort or loss of style. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident and comfortable in her hijab. It should never be a source of stress or compromise.
